We like to ask ourselves the crucial question: what impact do our products have? In a world where drinkware products are often part of the fast fashion industry, it is important to look beyond the absence of lead.

Our mission has always been to reduce the use of single-use plastics. But the reality is sometimes different. In an era where fast fashion and reusable drinkware converge, the essence of #BringYourOwn is at risk of being lost.

When water bottles are transformed into fast fashion accessories, the pressure is on brands to find the cheapest and fastest ways to get their products to market. Unfortunately, this sometimes leads to compromises in product safety.

Using lead-free seals for our insulated bottles is significantly more expensive than leaded alternatives. Although it costs us 6-7 times more, we made a conscious choice. Our primary goal from the beginning has always been to create the safest and least impactful products. Safe not only for our end users, but also for workers throughout the supply chain, and not to mention safe for the environment.

We choose not to compromise. We develop all our products according to our own strict Klean Design principles. We believe that keeping a product in use for as long as possible is the most effective way to reduce its impact. That is why we take the time to ensure that our products can withstand a lifetime of adventure, with the strictest requirements for safety and durability.
