We are a member of 1% for the Planet. In this way, we support organizations that work hard to make our world a beautiful and sustainable place. Through this commitment, and your trust in Klean Kanteen, we have donated more than $3.7 million to date.

We always donate to organizations that work around one of the 4 themes that we consider important: plastic pollution, nature conservation, environmental awareness and safe products.

We support many international NGOs . But we also want to make a difference locally and are looking for local partners . In addition, we also launch the Klean Kanteen Gives Back campaign every year to give projects a boost.

Every year we launch the Klean Kanteen Gives Back campaign. We give nature and environmental organizations that are active within our 4 pillars the opportunity to submit a project. A public vote decides which organizations receive support for their project.

We believe it is important to support local initiatives as a company. With Klean Kanteen Gives Back we want to give smaller initiatives the opportunity to receive a financial boost, in addition to our structural partners.

Since 2008 we have been a member of 1% for the Planet. Since then we donate 1% of our total turnover to environmental organizations around the world. By buying a Klean Kanteen you also support an environmental organization.

In Belgium and the Netherlands we support environmental organisations such as River Clean Up, Klimaatzaak, Natuurpunt and Natagora. In France we have been working with Surfrider Foundation and Protect Our Winters for a long time. Through these partnerships we also try to have an impact on a local level.
