Custom Print Capabilities
What are the possibilities?
Digital printing
With digital printing the possibilities are enormous. You can subtly print your logo on one side of the bottle or you can print the entire bottle around. Digital printing is therefore the most used printing technique for personalizing a Klean Kanteen.
CMYK Color Print
Artwork options: Full colour printing over the entire length of the bottle and 360° around.
Screen printing
We take a circular design approach to create products that last longer, use safe materials, incorporate recycled content, and can themselves be repaired to become something new. This approach uses fewer virgin resources and creates less waste than the old linear take-make-dispose approach. The end result is a range of hydration and food solutions designed to perform when you need them, from the workday to weekend excursions.
Screen Printing
Your artwork can be placed on the front and back, or wrapped all the way around the Kanteen. Screen printing produces stunning results for single and two-tone artwork and makes the most of the available print space with almost full wrapping capabilities.
Artwork: Works best with one or two color artwork where precise registration is not required. Additional colors are available. A vertical break of 8mm is required in all artwork.
Colors: Brushed Stainless (no paint), select standard colors from stock, approved Klean Coat colors. Custom bottle colors are available for higher quantities.

A beautiful and durable marking method, laser marking will last a lifetime.
Laser Marking
Klean Kanteen offers three types of laser marking:
- Laser Engraving - Laser is burned into the bamboo cap to create an engraved image
- Laser anodization - a permanent laser marking on the surface
- Laser paint removal
Artwork Preparation
We prefer artwork to be scalable vector graphics designed in Adobe Illustrator CS3 or later.

Laser Marking, Screen and Pad Printing
For this kind of printing, artwork must be scalable vector graphics with specified pantones. AI/EPS preferably as a PDF. Don't have a vector? No worries, send the largest resolution file you have and we will have it vectored. Fees may apply.

Digital Printing
Artwork can be vector or raster and may be full-color (cmyk). Print the full length of a product (up to 8.6”) in a single print cycle.

Colors
We select our ink colors from the Pantone deck. Pantone is the worldwide language for communicating colors. If you're not familiar with Pantones, simply provide colors using standard color names, ie, red, green, etc. You may select custom colors from the Pantone swatches at: pantone.com/color-finder.com
